You're really on to something here!
When you suggest we offer supportive comments and ideas as it is a "collaborative brainstorming session", I was reminded of an idea I read about in The Celestine Prophecy about creativity meetup groups in which each person speaks from their heart on something while all others in the group focus on the features of the persons face which adds tremendously to the persons ability to channel more of the essence of their thought stream. Great stuff.
